Farmville Strategy Tip – Topiaries

The topiaries in Farmville are bushes or trees that were trimmed very carefully to form an animal-like figure. When you are putting them in your farm and you are designing your garden, you can rotate them in only two different directions and they are always facing the user.

Some of them are sent as a gift, normally in the Mystery Gift box. You can also buy them using coins and they range from the cheapest, the Horse Topiary which costs 100 coins to the most expensive, the Buffalo Topiary which costs 5,500 coins. There are three topiaries that can only be bought with FV cash and they are the Sheep (5FV), the Llama (10FV) and the Flamingo Topiary (15FV).

For XP Raising

The Horse Topiary is the cheapest topiary and it has a great advantage: it only costs you 100 coins and it gives you 5 XP points. So if you want you can use it as the hay bales trick to rise up your XP level. In the end you can also sell them for 5 coins. If you use this tactic to raise XP, then each Horse Topiary costs you 95 coins already counting with the 5 coin for selling them.

Topiary Tips

The main objective of the Topiaries is to make your farm more pretty, but they also raise your XP level. You can create a garden or a corridor with these items. We have a large variety of them available, so it’s not a smart move to place them all in one place because if you do it your garden may seem overcrowded or with a weak design. Just choose some of your favorite animals and use the respective topiaries to enhance your farm. You can add to them bushes, hedges or fences and place and rotate them as you desire.

Hedges On

Hedges are the perfect match for topiary decoration. When you use these items you can create a fantastic garden design or a maze like you see in movies and fairy tales. This is excellent to express your creativity and dedication in Farmville. You can create drawings, or distribute your topiaries strategically on your garden. They will add life to your farm!
